40 years on ............................ Do I quote Paul Raven or Emerson, Lake and Palmer here? After nearly 6 months hiatus in terms of performance and releases, Elvis and The Attractions roar back with the formal addition of the (re-named) T.K.O. Horns most of whom had appeared as the Imperial Horns in the concerts just before and after Christmas in the U.K. This is the second night of a rather under-documented and recorded tour of Ireland (both North and South) and England. The first generation recording of the concert in Belfast from the previous night was upped by me about 5 years ago here and psychocaniac's re-torrenting only recently fell off. I'll reseed it if there's anyone still looking for it. This is a new to Dime torrent and a fine quality recording it is, again from the archive of Gordy from County Antrim. The bass performance from Bruce is especially clear but for an audience recording, there is little audience disturbance and the whole concert has a very lucid sound base. The Attractions seem up for the gig with all of them firing at maximum revs and no hiccoughs at all. The T.K.O. Horns don't overpower during the songs they are added to and the balance throughout is beautifully distributed between all the players and Elvis' fine vocals. The new songs all sound exciting and vibrant and Elvis announces the title of the new album and its imminent release a month later in July of 1983.
