Should we change the pages for the reissues and deluxe editions to something else -- such as My Aim Is True (1993),
My Aim Is True (2001) -- and the upcoming My Aim Is True (2007) ? -- JohnH 02:53, 26 April 2007 (CDT)

If the 2007 version is really going to be called My Aim Is True: Deluxe Edition, then yeah, we're definitely going to have to come up with something to distinguish it from the 2001 My Aim Is True (Deluxe Edition). I can't say I'm thrilled with the idea of using the year, since it requires a somewhat arcane attention to detail to know which Ryko CD came out in 1994 and which in 1995. The Rhino series is even less intuitive, since they were released out of chronological order over an even longer period. Of course, with redirects we could have very specific page titles like My Aim Is True (1993 Rykodisc/Demon edition), My Aim Is True (2001 Rhino/Edsel edition) and My Aim Is True (2007 Hip-O edition) and have My Aim Is True (1993), My Aim Is True (2001), My Aim Is True (2007), My Aim Is True (Rykodisc), My Aim Is True (Rhino), and My Aim Is True (Hip-O) as redirects. --Nunki 14:26, 20 June 2007 (CDT)
Ok, so pages named:
  • My Aim Is True
  • My Aim Is True (1993 Rykodisc/Demon edition)
  • My Aim Is True (2001 Rhino/Edsel edition)
  • My Aim Is True (2007 Hip-O edition)
Plus shortcut redirects of:
  • My Aim Is True (1993)
  • My Aim Is True (2001)
  • My Aim Is True (2007)
and...
  • My Aim Is True (Rykodisc)
  • My Aim Is True (Rhino)
  • My Aim Is True (Hip-O)
Should there be separate pages for both of Hip-O's My Aim Is True releases? -- JohnH 16:07, 20 June 2007 (CDT)
Ah, I didn't think of that. My Aim Is True (2007 Hip-O edition) is an ambiguous title. I don't like my own suggestion anymore. Maybe we should just go with:
  • My Aim Is True
  • My Aim Is True (Rykodisc/Demon)
  • My Aim Is True (Rhino/Edsel)
  • My Aim Is True: Deluxe Edition
I guess a parenthetical Hip-O could be added to the last of these to avoid confusion with the Rhino version, but the Rhino CDs don't actually say "deluxe edition" anywhere on them!
I don't know if the Hip-O single disc really needs its own page. It does technically have a unique tracklist, but it's probably sufficient just to note that on the main My Aim Is True page. -- Nunki 22:25, 20 June 2007 (CDT)

Liner notes

Any page-naming suggestions for the liner notes for each edition? -- JohnH 16:07, 20 June 2007 (CDT)
