Ol' four eyes is back. "Chelsea," already well-known through concert and TV appearances, is in a similar style to "Watching The Detectives" with the thundering reggae-like bass line, Costello’s staccato guitar and the soaring '60's plastic organ tone. Memories of the Small Faces' "Whatcha Gonna Do 'Bout It" and the Stones' "Last Time" are stirred by "You Belong To Me." Not only does "Chelsea" justify the respect for Elvis, but caps a thrilling trio with Nick Lowe and Pop/Williamson welcoming Radar into the world.
