That's far less silly, and horribly cruel to reject the mighty ATUB, but it can't rank ahead of IB at the end of the day.

Gotta be IB, even though it's tight, ATUB always seemed a little disjointed as an album to me, IB runs perfectly.

IB for me is the better album although the story could have been different if "What Do I Do Now?" had been originally on ATUB rather than the reissue.

Both rank among my favourite Elvis albums, but I think Imperial Bedroom is a more solid listen.

Once again the contrarian, I never cared hugely much for ATUB. A decent album that would be a lot of people's career best, to me it's just so-so by EC standards. (though I love "Why Can't a Man Stand Alone?"). IB -- well, Jesus H. Christ. A candidate for all-time best album....
