Looks like a guy in Kettering who got two years for flashing.
Bob Bradley - longtime MLS hack and current manager of Chivas USA. The USSF (our FA equivalent and apparently equally incompetent) is naming him as manager on an interim basis after Klinsi asked for too much control and/or money. The Federation is run by a bunch of myopic, incompetent bureaucrats who don't have a clue about the wider world of football beyond our borders.
Maybe, but they could have done a hell of a lot better. They've been searching for a new manager since the World Cup, and this is the best they could come up with?
They were counting on JK, who, imo, shot himself in the foot by waiting so long. Right after the WC, he could have asked for anything. Bradley'll be ok for an "interim." Because we need somebody. Now.

Seems that it's the USSF that shot itself in the foot by having no good Plan B if the Klinsmann deal fell through. Gulati owes people an explanation, but the typically lazy US soccer media are content to be spoon-fed BS.
Shame Trabelsi got one back, should have been 4 or 5 - 0, but I've been able to text my Cityfan colleague with a suitably nauseating message about MU underachieving but still getting a satisfactory result.
Reality and fantasy divide - part of me will punch the air if Lamps and Drogs clock up the points in the two home games, but the better part will go hoarse if Arse can get at least a point, and how about, ahem, Newcastle?
Sheva isn't untouchable, sure, but Ballack is? Is that one for the WTF thread?
There's more to life than books, you know, but not much more
I'll be on the road tomorrow for Chelsea-Arse, so hopefully I'll be able to catch it on the radio. I think we'll get all three points and keep it close with ManU. Everyone else in the PL is happy to roll over for ManU right now, it seems. I like our remaining fixtures better than the Buccaneers', so it should be interesting.
Just back from the Lane. Superb performance, even if the Addicks were woeful. Berbatov getting better and better, but Tom Huddlestone is going to be a real star.....mark my words. He has the relaxed easy style that betrays total comfort on the ball. MJ needs to play him more - he reminds me of Le Tissier or Hoddle in their prime. Just classy.
Best laugh was Spurs fans chanting "You're Just a fat Eddie Murphy" at Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink
And effing Dawson, my defender gets both an o.g. and a yellow. Tosser. Berbieboy is coming along nicely, indeed.
Chelsea have to draw v Arse. Goals by Lamps and Cesc, please.
A draw better than a defeat - so close at the end with Lamps and Essien hitting woodwork. Oh well, a very tough run of fixtures is out of the way and ManU still need to travel to SB. Should make for a very interesting second half of the season.
Beautiful goal by Essien. What a strike! Earned me some points as well.

They weren't laughing when he scored the best hat-trick I've ever seen against Spurs a few seasons back. Left foot rocket, right foot rocket, bullet header.
Just watched Essien's strike again. What a friggin' goal! Best I've seen in ages. Shame it wasn't a match winner. We're missing Cech I think. He would have saved Flamini's goal.

Jimmy Greaves once scored 4 goals against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. He's still a little on the portly side now though!
Nowak? Yes, I've heard him discussed a bit. Of the MLS options, he is someone I would not mind seeing take charge. If would be a death sentence for Freddy Adu, who does not get along with him at all (Nowak has now shipped him out to Salt Lake - there's Adu's career down the drain), but we could do a lot worse for sure.
Pekerman, Quieroz, Nowak, Houllier and Sven are all names that have been mentioned, in addition to Bradley and Klinsmann.
How about Ranieri? Speaks English - sort of - and would be good comedy value.
