I'm not going to dignify your cheap shot distortions or respond to any more of your posts, just give it up.

For the record, Axl was at one point ready to delete the song in question from that record, and they never performed it live. But, it's just a song that describes a very specific character and circumstance, nothing more.

Is she still editing? Never mind, I'm not reading that stuff any more.

Let me just say we've had plenty of conversations on this board about what it means when artists or celebrities say or do offensive things. Axl Rose offends me on that level and that's not a personal attack on anyone but him, if that.

I support posts and threads on any topic (though I reserve the right to react against their content); I apologize if I gave any other impression. I used to enjoy the title game thread but now I don't, so I just avoid it. I don't denigrate people who still enjoy it, though. What would be the point of that?

Back to more random thoughts...

Well, Jane, it just goes to show you, it's always something. Live and let live, that's what my musical cousin Carlos Santana Rosannadanna says.

Why not use an actual picture of Gilda Radner, instead of that random actress who played her in a Made For TV movie? :D

"And what's all this talk about natural Race Horses! Why do we need to nationalize race horses. Aren't all race horse 'natural'?

I think it's absurd...oh, wait, it's Natural "Resources"...Ohhhhh....

Never mind."

1. Because it was the first one I found.
2. This is the Random Thoughts thread, so I thought a random photo would fit.
3. I need new glasses.
4. I'm old and forgetful. That was a really long time ago.
5. She's my cousin. I'm trying to help her out.
6. I wasn't sure anyone was paying attention.
7. She paid me $10.
8. oily slick told me to.
9. my dog told me to.
10. SNL has become such a caricature of itself, it was justifiably ironic.

Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week.

I like ELO. And I liked Guns and Roses. I have no interest in the current 'Guns and Roses', cause I always thought of them as Izzy and Duff's band! Actually, I think they were important as the gap-bridger from Poison and that crap hair-metal to Nirvana. When Guns came out, they were harder, sleazier, and didn't sing "oooh let's party all night while we talk dirty". They sang about smack and hard livin'. Loved it. I think Axl's a cartoon now, but I love that first album and GnR Lies, offensive track notwithstanding. Backs out slowly.....

Eddie Izzard on FX. Looks promising, might save me from endless L&O reruns.

What a fox! And with a fiscal sense of responsibility, what with only purchasing the normally visible garments, and foregoing the uncessary extra undergarments that can be so restricting, confining, and hygenic. But when you are a balled female (er, bald), rok star, who needs undergarments.
