Haha. I had to look up what Poison Moon was! Wasn't aware it has had 8 outings in the last 5.5 years:

I'm not actually surprised by CCIU#4 or I Want You. But the other 3...?

I'm not that surprised by "High Fidelity" making the top 10. It's a Get Happy track that has continued to show up in concert over the years, it was in an episode of The Sopranos, and EC is generally fond of it. It might not make my personal top 10 but it's not a totally out-of-left-field pick...

What a lovely conclusion to this lister's compilation of titles. No quibbles on my part. I appreciate the delicious irony to be found in selecting a #1 that has never even seen the light of an official release. A non to subtle commentary on the state of the recording industry perhaps?

Really can't argue against any of the top 5 selections. Parts of the top 100 seemed random but the top 5 puts me firmly in agreement with the lister.

Can't argue with April 5th as number 1? Should have called it April 1st, right?

Great news about the new album, but how will the new songs stack up against E.C.'s best? For a limited time, you can check out my e-book of Elvis' 100 greatest songs free. It's in the link.
