Your Ten Favorite... Rolling Stones songs

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

As with The Jam, I'm with Monkman. Can't improve on that.

Stop counting so much.

Do you imply that Lady Jane is not the finest song ever written?

Their career really did just kind of stop all of a sudden. The Mick Taylor/Jimmy Miller influence on their output was astounding for an already well established band. After a while they just seemed to stop looking for fresh starts.

Ventilator Blues/I Just Want To See His Face
Dear Doctor
I Got The Blues
Rocks Off
Live With Me
Sway
Prodigal Son
Country Honk
JigsawPuzzle
It’s All Over Now (Bobby Womack, but their version is superb!)

She's a Rainbow
Shattered
Harlem Shuffle
Miss You
Undercover of the Night
Mothers Little Helper (Candidate for "Song that you can't get out of your head")
Bitch
Gimme Shelter (first exposure was Grand Funk Railroads version...and it still makes the list!)
Get Off My Cloud

Haven't heard everything, but it seems I have some impopular Stones faves:

1. Sleep Tonight (my favourite by far actually, although the rest of the album is horrible)
2. You Can't Always Get What You Want
3. Hey Negrita
4. Dead Flowers
5. Get Off Of My Cloud
6. Luxury
7. Down In The Hole
8. Gimme Shelter
9. Sway
10. Rocks Off (almost beaten by Might As Well Get Juiced)
What this world needs is more silly men.
