Earl Palmer & Elvis

Post by DeathWearsABigHat »

I was reading a website about Earl Palmer, legendary drummer who played on all the best known songs by Eddie Cochran, Little Richard, Ray Charles & a host of others.
Anyway, it said on the website [ http://www.drummerworld.com/drummers/Earl_Palmer.html ] that he'd played with Elvis Costello. I didn't know that, can anyone tell me which records he plays on.

Earl Palmer plays on King of America. I believe he is on The Poisoned Rose and Eisenhower Blues. Confirmation anyone?

Good thing the info is easily accessible via the EC wiki home page too. The information -- http://www.elviscostello.info/wiki/inde ... Of_America -- was 2 clicks away from its front page. Good work, Doc and whoever else is working on that.
