God Bless your union. Need a hint on what you would like for the Golden Wedding Anniversary.

Congratulations! And I will pay your wedding singer out of my own pocket to sing Randy Newman's A Wedding In Cherokee County!
Seriously, I hope that the two of you have a long and happy life together.

Fan-freaking-tastic! I am so happy for you both. Blue, I completely understand if you make El Vez best man over me, but I can carry a ring or something?

That rocks! Thanks for the well-wishes everybody... it's been an exciting week.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

I have a feeling the wedding will include beautiful red shoes (for the bride's maids) and an array of blue chairs for the spectators.

Blue, this picture is kind of a metaphor of what your life is going to become. I know that you 2 will live ever after...the next Paul and Linda.

We've booked August 5, 2007 at a beautiful venue with a pretty courtyard where we can have the ceremony.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

That's fantastic. Good luck to you both with the planning! Can you sit me next to Cope
And don't forget about that London stag night (or we could all have a lost weekend...).

Is it true that inviting someone from behind the former Iron Curtain brings luck to the newlyweds ?

Are we invited?
It looks to be the week before the kids go back to school next year.
Nice to see the plans coming along. Don't ever lose the excitement that you feel right now.

With the webbernet the whole world is invited.
Thanks and no doubt you will keep us up to speed.
Sppoky's right - even if things don't seem to be going the way you want, don't worry and enjoy it for the day it will be. Our wedding was the best day of my life. I hope yours will be too.

Should we warn our families???
Seriously though, thanks. So far, I can honestly say we've had a lot of fun with it. Not to say there haven't been the occasional stressful bits, but overall we're keeping a pretty good perspective and taking it nice and easy. I think it'll be a good, good day.

Although there is the slight chance that an inspector might tell us that the place is a disaster, Blue and I have yet another big piece of news:
WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!!
The offer was accepted this evening, and if all goes well we'll be moving to an Italian neighborhood early 2007.
