The Costello & Nieve UK Tour reaches the Olympia in Liverpool on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. This will be Elvis' second concert at the Olympia. He played there with the Imposters in February 2020 just before the Just Trust Tour was cut short by the pandemic.
The 2020 show was attended by Elvis' mother, Lilian. This may make his return to the Olympia (formerly the Locarno) a special night.
The Liverpool Olympia was built in 1905 as a purpose built indoor circus and variety theatre. It has a capacity of 1,960. The Olympia was renamed The Locarno after the Second World War. It was a Mecca Bingo Hall between 1964 and 1990, then reverted to being The Olympia.
