Poll: What's your favorite track on "The Resurrection of Rust"?
We haven't done a poll in a while. Feel free to elaborate below.

Great idea!! Everybody Knows This is Nowhere/Dance Dance Dance followed closely by I’m Ahead if I Can Quit While I’m Behind. Love the feel and looseness of the record, and only song I skip at this early stage is Maureen and Sam, but I think it’s inclusion is an interesting example of how the song “matured” into Ghost Train. Really liking the rest, more than I had anticipated!!

Listened for the first time today, on my walk before the rains set in. I voted for Surrender to the Rhythm. It's one of my favorite Brinsley songs, I love the return of Bob Andrews, and I like both Elvis and Alan taking vocal leads.
Who put these fingerprints on my imagination?

Same, but also for the thrill of being at the first Look Hear Listen Now thing in Leeds. I'd taken along a friend and casual fan, and as the warm-up music started, he said 'what is it?' I said 'oh, it's 'Surrender to the Rhythm', it's an old Nick Lowe song - it's good, isn't it?' Then as it continued, I was going 'no, no...wait, hang on...that's Elvis singing! What's going on here?' It was a lovely moment of revelation that I consider myself fortunate to have been at.Harry Lime wrote:Listened for the first time today, on my walk before the rains set in. Groovy little record, and a nice surprise release. It's Maureen & Sam for me.
