used keepvid and downloaded the mp3 from youtube. i am now officially down to 99.97% and am getting quite a swelled head about my mouse skills. however, I also now need a nap to recover.
once again, listening to this, he really seems to have lived inside this song long enough to do it much more justice than the original release. "Road testing" really does have a noticeable effect--he plays with the melody more and seems less "stuck" to the central line of it. again, i wonder if it is possible to record songs too soon, before even the composer has found all the rich roominess of their creation.
anyway, doc, merci.
