Hi everybody
Hadn't checked in in ages, but I wanted to say hello and best wishes to anyone who might remember me/care.
So, hello and best wishes. Hope your lives are going well.

Hi, good to see you guys, too. Still playing in Oliver's Army. In fact, we realized recently that it will be 10 years since the firt gig in January. Time flies.

Re: Hi everybody
Fine and dandy, and more on here than off! Playing in a covers band myself these days (drums), but thus far no EC numbers, though it has been talked of. We made a start on Chelsea one night in the early days, but I think the amount of work required scared us off. We could probably do it more justice now. We've just added a cracking version of Prince's 'I Could Never Take The Place of Your Man' to our set.

Otis, love that Prince song. Anything off of Sign O The Times works for me.
Wardo, it has been a long time. It's true. Good to see your name, too.
Invisible Pole, it's nice of you to ask. And since you did, I am happy to announce that my wife wrote her first novel and that it is available on Amazon.com in the Kindle Edition right now. It's called "Bent, but Not Broken," and it's set in post-Katrina New Orleans. I am completely biased, of course, but I think it's really good. The Kindle edition can be read on a Kindle or any device that can run the free Kindle App (which is pretty much any computer, iPad, or Android device). It should be directly available for nook through Barnes & Noble in about a week, as well as for iBookstore. It can be purchased at Smashwards.com right now in a format that works on a Nook or iPad. And it's a bargain at $2.99.
Here are the links:

End of commercial.
Verbal, thanks. What radical thinking is that?

Re: Hi everybody
Cheers! Welcome to the board. Of course, I have no business saying that, considering how long I have been gone.
