Elvis Costello geliyor
Daha önce İstanbul’da, Açıkhava’daki konserin sonunda izleyici bis yapmasını, malum “I Want You” şarkısını söylemeden gitmemesini istemiş, sonunda ısrarcı bir genç kadın defalarca “I Want You” (Seni İstiyorum) diye bağırınca, istifini bozmadan, sesin geldiği yöne dönüp “Tatlım, sakin ol.
Eee evet Costello Bey.
Olabilir ama şu an hiç vaktim yok.
O memnuniyet bana ait. 3 Ekim’i dört gözle bekliyorum.

Elvis Costello is coming
Costello, who was preparing for the Istanbul concert on November 2, explained why he could not write happy love songs
You know, there's a guy who says, like, he's moving the well-known song " She " from the opening scene of Notting Hill to the organs of man; That's Elvis Costello. A terrific comment and a unique sound. In our interview on the phone, you don't realize how funny it looks behind the thick glazed glasses. He was calm. He was serious like his concerts. Previously, in Istanbul, the audience at the end of the concert in the open-air, do not want to leave the song, without knowing the " I Want You " known, finally insisted a young woman many times "I Want You," I yell at you, without disturbing the direction of the sound , Honey, calm down. We haven't even met yet. Henüz You're going to be scared of the most beautiful words in life. The most poisonous words because they writes. Costello did not say that song, he ended the concert with a pot season. Those who can't get enough of that concert will now read an Elvis Costello interview from the first to the end.
Hey, Heja, how are you? I'm telling you the truth, right?
Well, yes, Costello. You're right, but I can tell you wrong because I'm so excited. Should I start my questions right now?
Of course, your excitement also passes.
Do you remember your first Istanbul concert?
I'm a little nervous because I don't know how the audience will react in a place I go for the first time. It was also in Istanbul, but every song that I said was accompanied. He surprised me. It was very nice.
How does the audience's response affect your stage performance?
For example, I have 5 different cities before Istanbul. I've never been to 3 before and I don't know how they like the songs, how they listen to the concert. I can determine the repertoire in the cities I've been to before. I have alternatives. Of course, on stage, the audience is more accompanied by the songs that I am applauded and changed.
The concerts have now become an industry where large sums of money are spent.
The taste of the other tastes of other concerts in the more intimate settings. We need technology. I've had both and I think music always goes where it should be.
Most of your songs tell you how painful it is to love. Do you really think that love is such a painful feeling?
No. My whole life has not passed unhappy love. But I also love the bitterness of love. I guess I can't write happy love songs. Maybe I can tell and overcome the unhappiness with music.
In the meantime, you have a happy marriage ...
Yeah. We work hard so we miss each other a lot. I think this longing is what keeps us alive. We spend a week on a family night and spend it with our 4.5 year old twin sons.
You have songs from your wife Diana Krall's album. You've also worked with Matt, your 34-year-old son. Family, don't the three of you think of an album?
It's nice working with Matt. And so is my wife. Maybe, but I don't have time. Which breaks do you expect me to do at concerts? I spend my remaining time twins.
Again I will talk about your first Istanbul concert. You must remember a girl who left letters to your hotel, your backstage. He's mine!
Really? If you are a letter in Istanbul, then I'm more pleased to do this interview.
That satisfaction is mine. I'm looking forward to October 3rd.
