I usually avoid these threads...and now I know why...I'm actually scared of Bamboo! Must remember not to offend him....

Not as good looking as So Lack the beer connoisseur or Mr. Average the martial arts pro, I should concede... was going for an 'art shot'.

Thanks Spooky! (who I reminded of Richard Gere in American Gigolo  )

Actually, and with all the testosterone I can muster, I genuinely think it is a great picture. Maybe not one for the grandkids to remember you by (at least the 'bars' are horizontal), but a cool picture.

Your motive was achieved in trying to get an artistic flair to your portrait. Very nice job.

Now, what about them Bears. eh? Helluva team, Helluva team (spitting on the carpet as I write this...)

A well'a blessa my soul
Wha's a wrong with me?
I'm itchin' like a man on a fuzzy tree
My friends say I'm actin' wild as a bug
I'm in love
I'm all shook up
Mm mm mm, mm, yeh, yeh yeah

Well, my hands are shaky and my knees are weak
I can't seem to stand on my own two feet
Who do you think of when you have such luck?
I'm in love
I'm all shook up
Mm mm mm, mm, yeah, yeah yeah

Well, please don't ask me what's a on my mind
I'm a little mixed up, but I'm feelin' fine
When I'm near that girl that I love best
My heart beats so it scares me to death!

Well she touched my hand what a chill I got
Her lips are like a volcano when it's hot
I'm proud to say that she's my buttercup
I'm in love
I'm all shook up
Mm mm mm, mm, yeah etc

My tongue gets tied when I try to speak
My insides shake like a leaf on a tree
There's only one cure for this body of mine
That's to have that girl that I love so fine!

She touched my hand what a chill I got
Her lips are like a volcano that's hot
I'm proud to say that she's my buttercup
I'm in love
I'm all shook up
Mm mm mm, mm, yeah etc
Mm mm mm, mm, yeah yeah
I'm all shook up

miss buenos aires, let's hit New York.

No point going there with some girl who only admires my brains...

I'll stop it now.

Yeah, I think we'll get over there again either this fall or next year.

I'll let you guys know if we are.

I do know we're playing Pukkelpop this year, though, which I'm very stoked about. So we'll be playing with the Pixies (!!!), Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Bad Religion, Danko Jones, Franz Ferdinand, Dropkick Murphys, Prodigy, Marilyn Manson, Röyksopp, The Posies, The Hives, Social Distortion, The Dwarves, Hot Hot Heat, Juliette & The Licks and many, many more.

I guess we're playing early, not being one of the bigger names (to say the least), which means that there's plenty of time for hanging out backstage for free drinks with the likes of Frank Black and Juliette Lewis.

I envy me.
