re-re-releases and re-issues

Is it just me or is anybody else getting mighty tired of re-issues of albums only months after first appearing. I don't mean the rhino re-issues which offer a complete CD of bonus material and represent good value, rather the Clarksdale Sessions and PFM tour edition etc. Even North exists in different versions. Last year I went to the trouble and extra expense of buying the Japanese version of TDM to obtain the extra track "The Monkey" only to find that a new extended album is now available containing this and other tracks. Guess I'll have to buy it again and give the other away..? Apart from this I also bought the 3 new rhino re-issues, Il Sogno and the 3 box sets of singles last year so it's proving a bit expensive to be an EC fan these days.

Yeah it's rather annoying, I waited for a special edition of TDM to be released and listened to the album in mp3 format while waiting.
