Name our record
Tomorrow (Sunday) is the deadline for my band, because press releases will be sent out Monday, but we haven't decided on a title yet. Any ideas? (We play fast melodic punk not unlike Bad Religion.)

I was hoping for blind suggestions, really.
None of the song titles work, but here they are: 1. Calling Card 2. Guantanamo 3. All Washed Up 4. St. Christopher 5. Throwing Bricks 6. Implosive 7. Homefires 8. Rearview 9. Libertine 10. Small Town Romance II 11. Sound Of Müzak 12. Staying Underground 13. Ten Years (You'd Think We'd Give A Shit) 14. This Time Around
If we don't come up with something better this weekend we will probably go with Strike 13 or Antisocial Studies. (Other suggestions have been Lost Hope Hollow, Resister, Legacy Of The Defeated, Sonic Sling, and Sell Out)
Our last three records were called Both Ends Burning, Out In The Red (see avatar), and Losing Weight Gaining Ground, b.t.w.

I actually suggested Noise Radio about a month ago, but someone reminded me that one of our past support bands had a record out called Riot Radio and it would sound like we were copying them. Great moniker though! (We had a song on the last record called Scaredycat, b.t.w, dunno how you picked up on that)

I've always thought Noise Radio would make a great name for a band or an album. It was the name of a fake radio show I did. (As in, I actually did the shows and recorded them, they just never actually aired. How geeky is that?)
Re: Red Scaredy Cat...Going for a Cold War referrence with a pun. And it was better than Duck & Coverdale Page. No idea about your song. Pure coincidence.
OR IS IT FATE?????
Other possibilities:
Commie Central
Cominternship
Ignorance is Strength
W is for War

It's not a joke. Actually, inspired by Woody Guthrie, Pete wrote this on his banjo:
"This machine surrounds hate and forces it to surrender."

So what did you finally settle on? I've been wanting to know all day.
If it's not settled yet, you should call it:
Swedish Bikini Kill
or
Glass Bricks and Socialism
Yeah, Im all out of ideas.

Gut Pageant is the name of one of my favorite songs by Kristin Hersh (she used to front a band called Throwing Muses). I like that name a lot, too. Just wanted to let you know where it came from. Good luck.

Lots of GREAT suggestions here (The Bland Leading the Bland, Riot In G Minor, and Random Axe Of Social Cicumcision new faves) but the deadline was Monday and we went ahead with One Louder, which seemed to fit after Out In The Red.
I'm saving those titles for later, though! Thanks a lot!
