Elvis, Glastonbury 2005?

Post by martinfoyle »

According to a piece in todays Guardian, this years Glastonbury will feature "the best songwriters in the world today". Surely that has to include Elvis. You read it here first.

Michael Eavis describes the headline act as "the best songwriters in the world today".

In a perfect world it would be Elvis. My imperfect world believes it will be U2.

Hasn't Elvis phoned you up to let you know that, Verbal? I thought you two were close mates!

U2 wont be at Glastonbury as they're playing Dublin on the same weekend. I'd also be surprised if EC went back as he has no fond memories of his 1994 performance or his mid-afternoon V2002 festival appearance.
