This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Bring him to the London Meet Up on Friday and I'll buy you a drink. I've got a chimney that needs sweeping. Oh, free to a GOOD home. Sorry to have bothered you. But come to the meet up anyway.

If you'll take him off my hands, I'll buy you a drink; you'll need it more than I. "Good home" is a relative term, by the way, and one that could be negotiated. My standards have lowered a bit since the episode in question.

If I didn't have to wash my hair on Friday, we'd both be there.

Well I rearranged my annual plucking my nasal hairs night so you could at least make a little effort.

Have that lady washed and brought to my tent. By tent I mean the pub. I wouldn't want to get told off (again) for flirting. :)

I get to go on a field trip today. I'm driving to take my nephew's kindergarten class to the circus. :)

I'm sure I will be very happy to dump them all back off at school when it's over.

The Grammys get less and less relevant every year:

This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

EDIT: Just saw the topic...damn
Preacher was a talkin' there's a sermon he gave,
He said every man's conscience is vile and depraved,
You cannot depend on it to be your guide

Wasn't it great when Seargent George turned out to be the brother of the bloke that took Rosie away to marry his son and the son of the woman with the disappeared son in the army who she always favoured?

Let's say you were brought into this life to do only one magical, memoriable thing and that thing only, shouldn't that be enough? I just saw the movie Rent (it was OK) and thought maybe this was Jonathan Larson's contribution.

If you look at everything he's done in between those two, it's not as big a surprise.
