Swedish TV appearence from 1983 (sadly, poor quality):
Charm School: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfFLmd5fCRg
Shipbuilding: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=193R8zjW ... er&list=UL
Invisible Man: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNlYlog8 ... er&list=UL
Since you put me down, it seems i've been very gloomy. You may laugh but pretty girls look right through me.

Thanks - really cool performances.

Great bass work on Charm School - always liked that part of that song.

the king of compiling videos..DOCINWESTCHESTER! thanks!!! you still got to try to make me a complete 8-21-82 JFK dvd! i got loads of blank dvds to send your way. we must meet. i got many, MANY concerts for you to upload for the good people of dimeadozen! i wish i could learn to torrent too. at backstreets BTX, there is a way to download hundreds of "BRUCE shows in mp3 format" page! yeh, you gotta be careful to avoid viruses, but i think we all KNOW the GOOD links (rapidshare, mediafire). we really should get it together here thusly. even if it means taking another contribution here to allow for bandwith, IT jargon, blah blah blah needs!!

That JFK show is so grainy and low def on YouTube that a DVD will be almost unwatchable. But I'll do it for you anyway:

Pidgin English/Hand In Hand - what a f*ing great segue!

An EC mp3 index would be da bomb, but a little controversial. Anyway, check your e-mail tonight.

Some grainy but great sounding footage from March '83

Charm School 'n Invisible Man sound so much better than the glossy Langer/Winstanley studio versions.

Here's a gem I was previously unacquaited with :

The Price of Love :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdsrDKjBVxE

[ oops this doesn't seem to be working as a hyperlink?????]

No idea of the sources of this, but to my ears it sounds like Steve and Pete (at least) from the heyday of the Attractions.

Apologies if it's already featured in the earlier posts.

It's from a soundcheck at the Nashville Rooms, September 4, 1977. It was prepared for release on the Rhino This Year's Model but dropped at the last minute.

Wow that's cheesy as hell. What's with those beautiful people dancing with "The Book"? That was strange.

And what in god's name is Bruce playing, a dulcimer?

That person with the youtube channel including the EDIWTB 12" has an interesting record collection. Elvis and the Attractions filed under 80's pop along with a 12" picture disc of Samantha Fox's "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)".

It's not you is it Mr Foyle?

it's my favourite of the John Harle collaborations and it's a mystery why it was excluded from the Julet Letters Re-edition

From a BBC Northern Ireland interview April 1999, backstage at the Waterfront Hall with a brief snatch of Amercian without tears from the soundcheck:

The infamous ' bad synching ' performance that had Elvis called to a BBC producer's office to be given out too like a schoolboy.

Nice!

I might be wrong, but it seems that Bruce is playing his own home-made bass - the one he glued together as a teenager (and didn't work). There was a picture of it here in the board recently.

Image

It looks vaguely like an over-sized Beatles bass ...
