Thanks for adding the link to the forum "notesrecliner".

This series is a thoughtful and well-researched look at songs from Elvis' lengthy and varied recording career.

A link to this episode is now on the relevant song page on the EC Wiki.

Earlier episodes will be similarly linked shortly.

Another enjoyable read.

Elvis has said this is a fun song to play (was it on The Clarksdale Sessions?).

Also Either Side of the Same Town shares a lot of similarities with Dark End of the Street (I loved Elvis’ live versions of this back in 1984 with the Attractions) and later solo shows).

Great stuff man. You have single-handedly made me listen to The Delivery Man a bunch of times (and for the first time) after your write up of the title track. Keep it up with the lesser-known choice cuts, I say!

Notesrecliner - following on from the last post I prefer hearing about lesser known cuts. Do you take requests?

Ha! Thanks for the kind words! To be honest, I only have a few more posts to go in this series, so no requests. But who knows what the future will bring!
