"I'm going to print a list of 10 songs a night that's going to give you the clue to what that night's going to be like, and the other 10 songs that I might play are a secret. So you'll never hear the same song twice. It's going to be 200 songs over 10 nights, different people popping up."

Lottery? For tickets? I just played back the show and just heard 10 days in NYC. I live for Rusty now. Just when you thought Rusty might not be so good. Rusty rules!

Goon S surely was not meaning that there will be a lottery to buy tickets Mojo. Rather he will like to come into a large sum of cash to be able to attend many shows is my interpret. I forget where GS resides. And as always...big thanks to ANCT for the words exactly said by our guy. I will add that he also said something along the lines of perhaps a discount of sorts to those attending ten times. Lol you sometimes never what our guy lets fall from his mouth almighty.

Correct!
Living this side of the pond would need a lottery win to financially enable me to attend!

If it's a big enough lottery win, it'll be Goon Squad, me, VG and Sheep To The Slaughter - the fourth wave of the British invasion

You know Sulky...the longest stand I ever attended was for BIG AUDIO DYNAMITE 1987...9 NIGHTS!! I was so fanatical about their first 2 long players that I would NOT stay home when tickets were a mere $10 and a 20 minute ride from my Bronx apartment. This 10 night stand would shatter that but I imagine divorce papers would be filed and $100k of vinyl would be in front of my home by night four. So....I shall leave it in the lap of the gods. I'll see what I acquire on sale date and look to get there thrice and be well pleased. The Gramercy is in a neighborhood I know well from my 15 years at Bellevue Hospital five blocks away....AS AN EMPLOYEE NOT A PATIENT. :D :D :D so the good Lord willing I will pick the three best nights!! Lol

I hope there is a 10-night ticket package that I can somehow afford, this sounds like a dream come true...

I’m definitely interested in this.

I did feel slightly underwhelmed by the UK tour, as others have said. I enjoyed it but it never really fired me up. Maybe I was hoping for too much. I’ve had a pretty bad couple of years starting from receiving the email on the morning of the show to say Oxford was cancelled along with the rest of the tour. Then we went into lockdown and all the crap that followed. Maybe I saw the Elvis tour as a starting point again but it just didn’t.

However, I feel so re-enthused after the Toronto gig. Virgin still owe me for the flight to Vegas for the cancelled show. I don’t think I could do all ten but possibly 3 or 4. I’m assuming it will be consecutive nights. Fingers crossed there is a presale!

thats brilliant

Not building my hopes up Mrs Sheep or Lady B as some of you may know her was actually warming slightly to a week in New York in February. If we did come over I doubt I could convince her into more than two gigs but you never know

So it must be from 5th to 22nd Feb. I can’t see Elvis doing 10 successive nights because of his voice.

The 1986 Songbook Shows had season tickets for each stint so there’s no reason why that could not happen here.

I like the idea of live steaming the shows but I don’t think Elvis would go for that.

I'm assuming these will be solo shows, even though he did not explicitly state this on Fallon's show.

I'd prefer full band, but 200 songs is a bit much to prepare, right?

Good question. It could be solo plus bands. For example there could be a Brodsky Quartet evening. But we’re all guessing!

My mistake. There are shows on 4th and 18th so must be 5th to 17th. I was sure the last show was 23rd when I looked :?

Guess what might be played on Feb 14th?
