hello there...
just registered, because of the speculation of a new album recorded with the imposters in another thread. that may be...
but elvis has also mentioned in an interview with german radio in january, that he had by then another record already finished on which he is playing electric violin (throughout).... recorded during lockdown. he did not say, wether or not the imposters play a role in that project.
since then i have wondered, why no one shows interest to that piece of information or do you think, that was only a joke? i do not think so, because of the context in that interview, where he states, that the recording process at home must have been a mess for his family, because the electric violin was completely new to him...
link to the short interview (already part of the TBNI thread):

he has given many interviews to promote TBNI, but that was the only one with this particular information, i think.
thanks
frank

He mentioned this a couple of times during the latest tour. He is referring to the Rusty CD.
