Thanks VG for arranging it. It was a great day.

I did see online yesterday a fan saying they were looking for fellow Elvis fans to meet up with for gigs etc in the US. You all need a VG in your area to organise your own fan forum meet ups. It is a great way to meet new friends.

It certainly is. 2023 will see the 20th Anniversary of me arranging these.

There have been some fantastic friendships forged both old and new.

The meet ups have also led to me meeting plenty of new fans at gigs as well. I was delighted to be approached by a fan in the street after the Ronnie Scott’s gig in November who thinks we first met in 1993. He came along to the meet up and really enjoyed it. Through our chat we think we met a lot earlier - possibly Shepherd’s Bush Empire in 1994.

I know a few of the ladies met up for a more sophisticated evening at one of the US shows (including our own Extreme Honey) so that was nice to hear about.
