I thought it would be 6th or 20th - to have slotted it in elsewhere would have given him too many nights in a row which would have messed his voice up good and proper!

Thanks to Andy the Roofdog and Goon Squad for texting me live from the Palladium.

Thanks to Paulina for letting me know via f/book. I imagine the news was on the Roadhouse website for at least a day - I can't imagine they had some web designer waiting to post it once it had been announced late on a Friday evening!

Twenty years to the day since his second-to-last Roundhouse gig.

Any indication if it's GA or seated? Never been to this venue before.

Another one of those annoying things where the 'members' get first dibs and by general sale there's nothing decent left.

Nonetheless, VERY HAPPY this is happening. :D

It is definitely grossly unfair that people who pay to be a member of a club or a subscription service should get preferential treatment to those who don't...

Really hope this is standing. Never seen seats in the Roundhouse, can they even put them in? The "£15-60" ticket price indication makes me suspicious.

I saw Allen Toussaint at the Roundhouse a few years ago. It was all seated , with the back half of the auditorium curtained off. I daresay they customised it depending on demand.

I would have thought demand for a small Elvis show would dictate it as standing only. I've seen Arctic Monkeys, The Fratellis and Smokey Robinson there and they were all standing.

The pricing reference has disappeared (for the moment?) - it's probably being updated for the presale. At the moment it only says "*Fees are £1.95 per transaction." and there are no price references.

If anyone gets tickets through the presale can you put us out of our misery and let us know if it's standing or seated or both.

I'm convinced it'll be standing. Hopefully as an Imposters gig it'll mean you can't hear people singing like a couple of (other) board members did at the solo Palladium shows.

When I saw Sharon Jones @ The Dap-Kings at the Roundhouse there was a mix of standing and seating, the pricing would indicate that this may be the case for Elvis.

Are there any seats? Purely for the record?

I think there are always seats on the balcony. How much are the standing tickets?

Been to the Roundhouse many times and I've never seen seating on the floor level.

There is permanent balcony seating which is only a few rows deep and a lot seats don't offer a great view due to many pillars/roof supports

I believe there is a VIP section of seating which gives access to the VIP bar overlooking the stage (right?)

I used to love the floor level when I was younger. Great venue and usually a good atmosphere

That's good then. At least standing means the 'members' didn't have the chance to grab all the good seats.

Anyone thinking of arriving early to get a good spot at the front? I will be bringing a flask, a bag of sweets and playing my entire EC and Dusty Springfield Spotify collection - in other words, I am determined to be at the front! :P

Does anyone know the capacity for The Roundhouse?

Booked. Still lots of availability, without paying £50 for membership. Here's hoping Elvis has a voice on the night.

It's 2,124 standing and 206 upstairs seated.

Thanks to Mrs VG for booking tickets for me, sulky lad, goon squad and sheeptotheslaughter. On a personal level, her doing this for me means it's going to cost me...
