30 seconds of Alibi: https://twitter.com/nichtroy/status/609142677423157248

I'm trying to imagine a solo version of "Invisible Lady" (on the stage setlist but apparently not played).

So what is the song listed as "Goodbye" on the printed set list?

As it looks like a song performed on the piano, it must be Elton's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

Maid Elvis finally get away without playing Psycho?

It's good to see so many songs rehearsed but not played yet.

I wonder if the Goodbye song was a Glasgow connection song.

It was a brief snippet of "Good-Bye" from the album "Frank Sinatra Sings For Only The Lonely" (1958). I recall the line "So you take that high road and I'll take the low " which then led more or less straight into Joni Mitchell's "A Case Of You."

Robyn Hitchcock posts to f/book -

Elvis Costello, Phill Jupitus, a green plastic bag, and I converged in Elvis's dressing room after his absorbing gig in Glasgow last night. Everyone is everywhere in showbiz, so you never lose touch - unless you want to!

Stood beside Phill Jupitus at a gig here in Dublin recently, some post rock band, Russian Circles maybe, he spent just about the entire time on his phone. Looked like he was enjoying himself.
