I dont think Ive gone to a concert by myself before but Ive been to comedy shows and things like that by myself plenty of times. I recently finished reading 2001 and the new EC biog, currently reading Alpha and Omega: the search for the beginning and end of the universe.

One ticket costs more than my rent. I cant justify that, no matter how much I love Elvis. At least ... not yet.

I also took Spanish in high school, German in college, and had a roommate who took French. In all of these languages Im now only equipped to contribute if the conversation is about cheese. It would also have to be a very short conversation ...
