Thanks, Martin! I actually have the Live Episodes CD but had totally forgotten about that live version. I'll have to go back and listen to it again to compare to the great version on Your Country.

As far as I'm aware, Graham has never released his own version of Crawling From The Wreckage (I've got ALL of his albums, ahem) until Your Country, his latest release due out March 9th on Bloodshot Records. I've been lucky enough to score a promo copy of this CD and it is fantastic! GP's version of ...

Usually, Elvis will begin a tour with a standard setlist and add addtional tunes as the tour progresses.

Haven't heard that Elvis performs on the album at all but I will buy it anyway. Diana is a fantastic pianist and vocalist. The right material could put her in a whole new ball game.

Just a few months shy of 45. I remember being deeply immersed in MAIT by the time of the SNL broadcast. What an event! Remember, this was pre-VCR boom so we all thought that what we had just witnessed would probably be lost forever as it was unlikely that NBC would rerun the episode anytime soon. (W...

AllMusicGuide review of Cold Mountain Soundtrack (excerpt)

Review of Cold Mountain soundtrack AllMusicGuide, 2003-12-09 - James Christopher Monger (excerpt) "That same bleeding heart pumps through Alison Krauss' delivery of Elvis Costello's powerful "Scarlet Tide," a ballad of devastating beauty that works almost like a spiritual. Recovering ...

Fox News has a "blinkered" view of a whole lot of things! They are quickly becoming a mouthpiece for a certain section of the populace and an increasing embarassment to the rest of us.

Go BC. . .I'm with you on that one! The shows with the Confederates were the most swinging Elvis shows I've had pleasure of attending. That post-KOA touring band was hot! It would be nice to see Elvis add a lead guitarist like Ribot, Burton or someone else to help flesh out the Imposter's sound even...

The Blades version of "Shamed" can be found on the "Lost Dogs" (? - I am at work and can't recall the entire title) tribute CD. Unless you really have to have the Miranda Syndrome, the Blades album is not worth $30 IMHO.

Stick To Me was the 1st Graham Parker album I ever heard back in 1977. I then immediately went out and bought Howlin' Wind and Heat Treatment. A few months later, he released Squeezing Out Sparks! As much as I love those early albums, I really think Graham started to strike creative gold with Struck...
