Mind you it's pretty difficult to find a hat that fits. When you're into hats you know that. This one isn't so bad.

The pic may not be the greatest, but I find it much better than any of those posted on his official site.

 How can you lie and think of England ? That's not what I was taught. When I was a little girl and people from my mother's family wanted me to swallow some bitter medication they told me "fermes les yeux et penses à l'Angleterre" ("Close your eyes and think of England" ). ...

Thanks JF. I had noticed the cat. refs but not realised they were so numerous. Now that would form the basis of a good chapter in a bio. The one I prefer is "In a certain way he felt like Jesus". It's not particularly Catholic, but arguably the most Christian of them all. (You may throw al...

Thanks Pole. Billboard quotes a sentence from the forthcoming disk's liner notes ("This record may explain what I've been doing during the last 12 years when I haven't had an electric guitar in my hands" ). But how come Billboard has the notes already, if the disc is going to be released n...

Needle, I was glad to read those lyrics of Macca. I don't know about this one, but when I like a song I don't mind if it's weak, and if it's good but weaker than others then I couldn't care less. We have an old saying in France, dating back to the times of the knights but that holds true today as pa...

"Fourty signs of rain" (Kim Stanley Robinson).

Easy read, and the main character is interesting (guy working from home raising a baby).
Not the kind of book I would normally buy, but it was on the shelf closest to the coffee shop entrance and I liked the title.

Ot. it's all right. And really, it doesn't matter.

Strangely, earlier today I was thinking of that movie and how I should unearth the VHS and see it again, before I finally purchase that DVD player I wanted to do without.

Greatest Hits - Rosemary Clooney 8)

Its a brand new compilation of Acrobat Music. The big band is way too loud but in those days they liked it so. One of the songs is a total crack up, the chorus goes "Its like taking Candy from Baby", that is also the title of the song, by the way.

Whatever Red, you could write a story with your dream, a fantastic tale in the earlier sense. Something like " Alice in Wonderschool and the Cat of Chester"...

You could have the cat teach things to Alice all through the book or only a chapter.
