"I'm a bear, Up a tree, On Hampstead Heath..." I liked it when Craig David was on about 'craaaazyy paaaving' or his kestrel. His Justin Timberlake is hilarious too. DrJ http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/B/bo_selecta/index.html For those who don't know what we're on about.

I don't like D.Grey much but it's actually in his video for "Be Mine" which is very dull video of DG singing the song in a pub until the last minute where he wiggles his head so much that it falls off and is carried off by a passing dog. It's quite a funny shock. Bo Selecta is veryvery fun...

44 isn't bad for what is a rather specific genre record.

Bowie in at 3, good for him, Starsailor in at 2 though. Who gives a ratsass about this bad? What am I missing?

Zevon in at 57, Proclaimers in at 70.

Singles chart is interesting too. 7 new enteries in the top 10.

EC's Dublin Home For Sale

Although I didn't see the article myself, there was a piece in the Sunday Tribune property section today announcing that EC's Dublin home is up for sale. There was a pic of the house as well, and the article pointed out that planning permission had been granted for some big extension and recording s...

EC has covered "Ship of Fools" there's a live version on the Costello & Nieve box and I believe there's a studio version on some tribute album somewhere. The song is "You Stole My Bell" from Cage's Christmas movie "The Family Man". Saw it last Christmas, it's a ripo...

Hahaha! Hilarious. I can feel the self-loathing swell in my gut because I know I'm going to end up buying these. Just to have them, you understand. I don't have a hankering for the 1984 remix of Pump It Up, but I bet they'll look good on my shelves. It's obviously just a nice little cash in from Dem...

Thanks for the transcription, I'm pissed off at missing it. I like R&J, I mean, they're insane, but they're fun to watch. I think it's great the way Richard doesn't mind hosting the show with his mum.

When the player window is open on your web browser, view the source code for the page and have a root around for a reference URL that fits. Then use that URL in your player. It often works for pages with inbuild Real Player or Windows Media stuff.

If you access the show thru the BBC website, you'll find you can't go to a particular point in the show and have to listen to it "live" so to speak. However... Open Real Player and Open Location and enter this http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/rpms/ross.rpm ... then you can whizz to the bit w...

Cool. I tuned in at a quarter past eleven and missed the whole thing, but Ross' show is funny. As a trivia note, for those in the US or whatever, it's worth pointing out that JRoss began his career with a chat show called "The Last Resort" in 1987 and from the second season onwards his hou...

Yeah Otis, Bowie is everywhere!!! But Reality can wait: DB was good on JRoss tho, like that song.

I really should go listen to North. The packaging is nice. But the internet bonus version of North is in a Windows Media type format and is explicitly Apple incompatable. Microsoft scum.

Life is a lot more complex, messier, takes longer, and if you recite it literally it will involve long periods of sleep, which are not that interesting to listen to.
Now that's funny.

Yeah, Wild Horses wasn't great. We didn't figure it was Andrea Corr till halfway through. We were sitting at the back, the sound, as it always is in The Point, wasn't great, but it was The Stones and overall worth it.

I'll post my crummy pix later.
