Thinking I was pretty smart, I copied all 8 episodes to DVD's and planned on putting the audio up on Dime. No not a taper. What type of device do you need to do that properly? I bought the Zoom H2 digital recorder. It is excellent - discrete, relatively easy to use, and high quality. It's not too late.
