This picture of EC is not of him outside the Vanity/Perfume Factory but the main doors of the Hoover Factory. I remember the London Sunday Times using this picture (or a similar variation) in their big article in their Magazine in late 77/early 78. Lovely to see it again after all these years.

and come to think of it, isn't there a photo of Joe on stage with the 101'ers where he has Buddy Holly style glasses? I don't think EC has ever owned up to that inspiration although I do recall he credited Danny Adler (of Roogalator) who also wore those frames (plus played a Jazzmaster).

I've noticed recently - via Google Trends - that more searches on EC are done in Greek than any other language currently. This seems v odd. Any insights? Given EC's recent weight loss perhaps the Greeks are concerned that thier Kebab driven economy is going south ...
