There was a period of a few months in 2002 when it was a good site, with EC answering fan's questions and writing a tour diary, but then he apparently lost interest.

Will we ever get to hear the takes of "I Hope Your Happy Now" cut with the Keltner/Scheff/Froom lineup? EC says "We struggled through a few tentative takes, but it was useless." So maybe not, but I think he is holiding it for the next re-re-re-release. Spooky, if you haven't alr...

I used to consider B&C one of EC's weakest albums, but somehow over the years it's become my absolute favorite. Go figure. I love every song on the album. I just love the ones at the bottom of the list a little less than the others. 1. Next Time Round 2. Battered Old Bird 3. Poor Napoleon 4. Blu...

KOA is so strong that it's difficult to place some really good songs near the bottom. 1. Sleep Of The Just 2. American Without Tears 3. Jack Of All Parades 4. Suit Of Lights 5. Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood 6. Glitter Gulch 7. I'll Wear It Proudly 8. The Big Light 9. Brilliant Mistake 10. Eisenhower...

I have the Sound Choice CD. Each song is included twice, once as an instrumental and once with a guide vocal by some guy making a half-hearted attempted to sing like EC.

I'll admit to having sung both "Pump It Up" and "Everyday I Write The Book" in karaoke bars.

The KOA booklet includes a credit for "Cover Colourisation: Ed Turner."

The resemblance to Ted Turner has me wondering if that name is meant as a joke.

On Monday February 12th 1996 they , along with session musicians , assembled at Right Track Studio, New York . What's your source for the February 12th recording date? Beyond Belief (#6) said February 9th but also apparently identified the wrong recording studio (Orpheum Studios). (And to add to th...

EC "Artist's Choice" CD now available at Starbucks

An "Artist's Choice" CD of songs selected by Elvis is now available at Starbucks locations. It does not appear to be available on Starbucks' website (hearmusic.com), but it will probably show up there eventually. Here's the lineup: 1. Louis Armstrong - Let's Do It (Let's Fall In Love) 2. M...
