40 years on ........................ Another first generation recording from Gordy I believe and another new one to Dime, there's not a lot to say about this one as it follows a similar pattern to many of the previous shows recently upped here. Again I'm impressed with the quality of recordings from this period particularly in comparison to those of just .12 months earlier when there were a few "dogs dinners" of recordings. We get a small variation in the setlist with the appearance of Allen Toussaint's "All These Things" and Steve's programmed synth plays the ice- cream van jingles after "Pump It Up" . Lineage : TDK SA90 cassette > Nakamichi DR3 (no dolby) > NAD 660 CDR > EAC > Nero Platinum for track separation and pitch adjustment > TLH > FLAC > you
